are a convenient way to manage several ads at once and follow statistics. By default, your ads are placed to the campaign called "My Ads", but you can create an unlimited amount of campaigns.
To create a new campaign, just select Сreate a new campaign
when creating an ad.
After creating a campaign, you can always edit its name on its page. To do this, go to the page of the advertising campaign and click "edit"
next to its name.
One of the advantages of advertising campaigns is the possibility to launch or terminate several ads at the same time with one click. If you terminate a campaign, then all ads in it will stop being displayed immediately. To resume displays, all you have to is launch the campaign again.
When you terminate a campaign, then all launched ads inside it become suspended
. Only these ads will be launched when you launch the campaign once again. If you terminate an ad manually, then it receives the status terminated
and will not
be launched automatically during the next time the campaign is launched.
You can indicate the launch date
and termination date
of a campaign. For example, if you want to start an advertising campaign on the weekend, you can create an ad on Friday and set the launch for 13:00 on Saturday and go and have a good weekend. VK will do the rest for you.
If you are advertising an event or a special offer, it is helpful to indicate a termination date of such a campaign. On the day of the event, you will not have to worry that you forgot to disable the ad, and buyers will not come to you demanding a discount after the end of a sale.
A large number of old completed campaigned make work with the section harder by taking up a lot of space in the table. This is why you can archive a campaign or ad — they will be terminated and will not be displayed in the general list. All statistics, however, will still be available.
To view archived campaigns and ads, as well as view their statistics, you will need to select the filter "Archived campaigns / ads"
above the table.
Please note that archivation is irreversible. You will not be able to launch an archived campaign and ad or cancel archivation.
